Terms and Conditions

| 1. | Lessons are paid for directly to the tutor by cheque or
cash. There will be a small surcharge of £1 for each cheque. |
| 2. | At the first lesson, two hours’ fee is payable. This covers the lesson and the following lesson. After this, one hour’s fee is payable for the following lesson, so that you are always paying for one lesson in advance. I regret having to do this but have to as I have had students fail to turn up in the past, and then refuse to pay. |
| 3. | Lessons will take place at the booked time. |
| 4. | A minimum of forty-eight hours’ notice is required to cancel a lesson or the fee is payable in full, unless I can fill the space. |
| 5. | Handouts and worksheets will be supplied. However, the student is expected to bring paper and pen. |
| 6. | I strive to provide the best possible tuition. However, I cannot be held accountable for academic success or lack of it. Students are expected to put in as much effort as I do. |
| 7. | I do endeavour to ensure that my students enjoy their studies, so sometimes include games as part of the teaching process. These games are designed to aid progress. |
| 8. | Unless you have booked a set number of lessons, a minimum of one week’s notice of termination of the arrangement should be given. |
